Iznik Abdulvahap Sancaktari Tomb and Landscaping Project
A large number of visitors come to the hill, which is located in the north of Iznik and where the tomb Abdulvahap Sancaktari from the Sahabe-i Kiram is sits. Within the scope of the project, a domed tomb structure that will meet the spiritual weight of the office, a pavilion that will serve the visitors and be used as a social facility, 15 benches where Iznik’s local products will be sold, a prayer room, a fountain and toilet structures have been placed. Using completely traditional technique; Abdülvahap Sancaktari Tomb and Landscaping Project, which will be built with stone, wood and similar materials, has been approved by Bursa Cultural Heritage Preservation Regional Board. Tender work for its implementation continues in Iznik Municipality.
